Behavioral Support Services
The Arc’s Behavioral Support Services (BSS), builds on our holistic approach to services, which allows for flexibility in helping people understand and access the services that best fit their needs; from early childhood through retirement.
This holistic approach means we support people through the entirety of their life, encompassing their physical, mental, spiritual, financial, and emotional wellbeing.Behavioral Support Services are for people who need behavioral, social, or emotional support to thrive.
Behavioral Support Services are available as an individual service or with current Arc supports and are funded through DDA. Developed through trauma-informed care by a licensed clinician, this service helps people create the environment that best supports their vision for success. Families with children under the age of 21 can access this service for their child’s out-of-school activity.
The Arc is a partner in developing a custom plan that supports people to move to intentional actions built on a foundation of trust, caring, and wellbeing. We believe everyone can achieve a full and engaged life in the community, and our Behavioral Support Services help meet that vision.
Through creative problem solving, consistent communication, and agile services, we help create the environment that encourages daily success for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
