The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) congratulates Catie Comer, Vice President of Advancement, on being recognized as one of The Daily Record’s 2022 Leading Women Under 40. The award recognizes women who are 40 or younger for their professional accomplishments, commitment to their communities, and excellence in their fields. The honorees were selected by previous Leading Women and The Daily Record.

Under Catie’s forward-thinking leadership at The Arc, annual giving has increased over 300%, fundraising from The Arc’s annual golf tournament has increased by $100,000, the Family Fund and Holiday Giving programs have experienced exponential annual growth, and The Arc’s $8 million capital campaign, Expanding What’s Possible, has launched successfully.

“In every role she has held at The Arc,” said Jonathon Rondeau, President & CEO of The Arc, “Catie has worked diligently to increase, streamline, and advance our fundraising efforts, brand image, and advancement opportunities.” Catie began her career with The Arc as its Development Associate within the External Relations division. Before her appointment as Vice President of Advancement, Catie served as Director of Development & Communications.

“It’s an honor to be recognized in this way for my achievements at this moment in my career,” said Catie, “and I’m excited to continue this work. I love connecting with our donors, sharing our stories and mission, and making sure the people we support have the resources and opportunities they need to live the lives they choose for themselves.”

Catie’s commitment to inspiring change in her community is not limited to her work with The Arc. She also serves on the board of the Anne Arundel County Literacy Council, the Maryland Sister States Leningrad Oblast committee, and as a mentor through the professional mentorship program with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Maryland Chapter.

Leading Women Under 40 honorees will be celebrated with a reception hosted by The Daily Record at the Baltimore Museum of Art on August 24, 2022. Winners will be profiled in a special magazine that will be inserted into the Aug. 25 issue of The Daily Record and will be available online at TheDailyRecord.com.

The Arc congratulates Catie Comer on this recognition of her leadership and success in her career, along with all other Leading Women Under 40 honorees.
